My picky huskies are obsessed with Cubies!

Both of my picky eaters love A Pup Above’s Cubies! They enjoy the beef pot roast & porky’s porchetta grain free formulas. These also work perfectly in their interactive feeders like snuffle mats, treat dispensing toys, etc. :)

Pups loved it!

Our pups loved the cubies, my girl wanted to dig in right away and she’s never this interested in new food/treats for long as she’s picky. They are so easy to feed and convenient on trips. We go hunting/camping a lot and these are perfect, they come in bags that are easy to carry on the go and there’s no prepping needed to be done as you just scoop it out and feed it. Perfect to use during training sessions or as a topper as well.

How are the Cubies cooked?
The Cubies cooking process can be broken down to 3 simple steps! First gently cooked sous-vide (just like our frozen food), then diced into Cubies and slowly air dried. Slowly air drying our food allows us to remove moisture from the Cubies without applying heat to them. This allows us to maintain the nutrient profile of the ingredients while making the Cubies a shelf stable product. Pawfect as a full meal, meal mixer, or treat!
Can I feed both the Cubies & Frozen Gently Cooked?
Absolutely! The Cubies and frozen Gently Cooked are the pawfect combo! Our Chief Pup Officer Lola loves having variety in her meals, so she eats the gently cooked with Cubies for an extra crunch. Feeding both in the same meal, or even rotating the Cubies with the Gently Cooked is a good way to keep picky pups interested in their meal times.
What is the texture of the Cubies?
The Cubies are high protein, low carb crunchy cubes that work well as a meal, topper, or healthy treat. Chief Pup Officer Lola loves having extra crunch added to her frozen Gently Cooked, which is what inspired the Cubies! If your pup prefers a softer food, we suggest soaking them in warm water or nutritious bone broth! Our frozen Gently Cooked is a soft texture and may also be a great fit.
How do Cubies Compare to Other Dry Foods?
The Cubies are gently cooked sous-vide like our frozen patties then slowly air dried, which preserves nutrients and makes Cubies much less processed than other dry foods, such as kibble. Compared to freeze-dried, Cubies are 50% less in the cost to feed. All in all, you're getting a dry food that's much healthier than kibble and more affordable than freeze-dried.
Where Do You Make Your Food?
We cook up our meals in USDA inspected, human grade kitchens according to USDA standards. Each recipe is gently cooked sous-vide to maximize nutrient retention, enhance flavor, and deliver a high meat protein food your pup is guaranteed to love. The Cubies are then diced and air dried, delivering the flavor of fresh and the convenience of a scoop!
